Jenny sees the world in patterns, systems, and the logic that connects them. As a psychologist with over 20 years of experience, she loves uncovering what makes people tick and identifying the often-overlooked ingredients that create meaningful compatibility. Equal parts analytical and intuitive, Jenny brings a thoughtful, evidence-informed approach to matching people, combining data, insight, and a genuine belief that the right connections can transform lives.
Jessica has always been drawn to people and the stories that connect them. A natural matchmaker at heart, she has spent her life bringing people together — friend groups, neighborhood parties, book clubs, tennis teams, ski trips. As a clinical social worker and psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience, she specializes in group, couples, and family therapy — helping people build the insight and skills to strengthen relationships. Equal parts warm and perceptive, Jessica brings a natural gift for facilitating connection to this new venture.
The alcheMeets Story
Jenny and Jessica have been friends and colleagues for over a decade, sharing a belief that real relationships are the foundation of a meaningful life. In recent years, we kept hearing the same thing — in our practices, and everywhere else — that people are lonelier, and real-life connection is declining. It's not just us noticing; it's being called a loneliness epidemic.
What started as a "what if there was a better way" turned into "we should build this."
We brought our different professional lenses and compatible personalities together — which is where the idea of alchemy came from: part science, part intuition, part magic. We dug into the research on compatibility and connection, looked at what other cities were doing, and compared it to what actually exists here in Rochester.
What we built pulls it all together: a curated experience based on what really matters — shared values and goals, compatible personalities, and intentional, in-person interaction — plus something most matchmaking can't offer: real skills coaching and support, built in. That's AlcheMeets.
